Bâ™ TRUMPETS
Bâ™ trumpets are probably the most commonly used trumpet world-wide. Known for it's versatility, the Bâ™ trumpet is the most widely used horn for both students and professionals, alike. Many trumpet makers offer both student and professional model horns. Below you can find a description on both and determine which one is the best fit for you!
STUDENT MODELS
Student model trumpets often have features that are designed for young musicians. Some aspects of these instruments include specially designed leadpipes that make the instrument easier to play as well as adjustable third valve slide finger rings that are adjustable to smaller hands. These instruments often use parts that are easier and less expensive for companies to manufacture. This helps to cut down on the cost for the musician, but creates an instrument that is not as refined as a higher level instrument.
PROFESSIONAL MODELS
Professional trumpets are built with performance and longevity in mind. These instruments often feature parts built from the highest quality materials available and in some instances are assembled by hand. The cost of these materials and the added labor makes these trumpets more expensive but produces an instrument that has even response in all registers and dynamics. Due to the extra efforts that are made when building these trumpets they often produce a better and more consistent sound than their less expensive counterparts.
